I’ve spent my career shaping and leading design at different companies and bringing innovative creative ideas to life. When I step away from the work, these are just a few of the passions that fuel my imagination.
If you know me, you know that I'm a movie geek. Movies take me to places I've never been to and inside a different perspective other than my own. It's a window onto a wider world, broadening my perspective and opening my eyes to new wonders.
Yes, I'm an action/sci-fi movie geek. One of my favorite movies is Aliens (1986) with slow building tension to all out action. A few other favorites: Star Wars, Terminator, AVP, Jurassic Park/World and almost of the new super hero movies. I also like a good car chase; Need for Speed, Gone in 60 seconds, Fast and Furious and one of the greatest - Smokey and the Bandit.
Rock, Pop, Metal and Country & Western - I love to listen to anything as long as it has a great beat. And is Dub Step back in style yet? The problem I have with my music choices are I usually find one song and play it so much that I wear it out.
A few of my favorite bands I like to crank up include: Van Halen (with Sammy!), Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, Slipknot, Pantera, Journey, AC/DC, Hail the Villain, Johnny Cash, Muddy Waters, Skrillex and who could leave out the king - Elvis. Viva Las Vegas!
When I'm not working with a team firing on all cylinders, I'm under a hood trying to get more power out of 8 cylinders. You could say that I'm a horsepower junkie who enjoys a good car show and socializing with friends. I've had the good fortune to meet and make a lot of great car friends, from Vietnam vets to master mechanics.
My current project has a lot of time spent on it. From putting in a new adjustable suspension setup to drilling and slotting the rotors so the stopping distance is quicker. The hope is one day, to put twin turbo on it for a few more ponies.
